Produced exclusively from 100% Assyrtiko grapes from a single vineyard of very old rootstocks (over 150 years old) located on the village of Megalochori. Maturation with the gross lees for 22 months in stainless steel tank and 2 months in large oak before bottling. Austere and chalky mineral nose full of iodine. Ripe stone fruit and herbal notes in a salty background. Generously structured mouthfeel, complex, and multi-layered. Reminiscent of thyme and tea in a sea driven phenolic palate. Great balance with a long savory and mineral aftertaste.
