Chateau Clarke is one of the rare vineyards in the Médoc that produce a white wine. "Le Merle Blanc" is a part of the history of Chateau Clarke, as it has been produced every vintage since the late 19th century. It kicks off with a touch of citrus peel and jasmine then leads to lemongrass and slightly richer creamier notes from the judicious oak interaction. The palate is clean and expressive with freshness and tension balanced by richness of fruit and a delicate toasty savoury note.
