This has a dense nose of black berries, mocha and rich Puisseguin-Saint Emilion earth. The body is full and somewhat unexpected from this region as there must be a higher percentage of Cabernet Franc in this blend. It's so thick and ripe that it's quite chocolaty complemented by flavors of ripe currant, licorice, espresso, and vanilla. Finishes long with a hint of spice, loamy earth, and herbs.
