Kayafas is made from a vineyard planted nearly fifty years ago near Trilofos, and is an inspiring wine of truly remarkable depth and complexity. Deep ruby red color with violet highlights. Intense and complex nose, with aromas of red fruits such as strawberry, cherry, raspberry and redcurrant. Hints of tomato, lavender, vanilla, marjoram, nutmeg, green pepper, rose and tea complete the special ensemble.
On the palate it has full body, intense but ripe tannins and crisp acidity.
