Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru comes from Chardonnay vines around 45 years old, located in the towns of Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses and Ladoix Serrigny. The grapes are pressed, then decanted and the grape must is put into French oak barrels of 228 liters (with 15% to 20% new barrels) in which the fermentations take place (alcoholic and malolactic). The aging lasts 18 months on the lees , without stirring. One month before bottling, the wine from the different barrels is placed in stainless steel vats for blending. Bottling is done according to the lunar calendar.
