Only 2,000 bottles of this elegant wine are bottled at the family-owned Makarounas estate in Paphos, Cyprus. It's a beautifully textured expression of Yiannoudi, an indigenous Cypriot grape with aromas of ripe black cherry, plum, black olive, herbs (mint & bay leaf), tobacco, leather and dark chocolate. Its mouth is full, with distinct acidity, dense tannins, well-integrated alcohol and a spicy long aftertaste. A red wine that you could pair with red meat and game.
